(The last time we left Clare [grn-up] & the gang had left off... They were in a empty pool in Oakland hills, Ca to meet up with Young James, Young Kirk & their friends Fred cotton & Pushead, later Young James however broke his arm again and had to be sent to the hospital to get his arm fixed ..... Later on that night Young James had a grand idea to teach Clare [grn-up] how to skateboard but she is hesitating to do it because what Young James did at the empty pool in Oakland Hills earlier in the day but Clare [grn-up] had to trust Young James for it anyway.....the rest you'll have to figure out on your own......enjoy the story>>>> )


Young James: Hey, I have an idea .......come with me outside

Clare [grn-up]: Baby, I don't want your other body parts broken

Young James: Ohhh I'm not skateboarding this time (grins).....I'm just going to teach you, now com'on

(Meanwhile outside)

Clare [grn-up]: Are you sure that I'm not going to fall off the board?

Young James: I'm 100% positive that you're not going to fall off, all you have to do is to position yourself on the board & bend your knees a bit....here I'll show you without the board

(Somewhere in the background)

Sarina: ...........Soon..............

Van: Sis, how much further till we get to Lyra & her family?

Sarina: We may have found her.....but we're not getting vengeance yet....I can just smell it

Shadow (Cliff): & What do you mean by vengeance exactly?

Both of them: Uhhhhhhhh......

Shadow (Cliff): Now you both listen to me, if you both hurt my only little girl.....
It's not going to end well.....I hope that brings it across to you both......better watch your asses.......

Clare [grn-up]: (gets on skateboard) [inner thoughts: here goes nothing ........ Ohhhhh say can you see ...] WHOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!

Young James: HELL YEAH!!! alright Clare, nicely done

Clare [grn-up]: Hey hey, what do you know, this is not so bad after all

Young James: Once you get the hang of it, the tricks n' flips will wonders for you

Clare [grn-up]: Hmmm ..... Like this (does the handstand) .... Or how 'bout this (lifts her left arm in the air)

Young James: Oh now you're just being cocky there sister hahaha

Clare [grn-up]: Oh really now James Hetfield, (gets off board) name one thing I love most about about you?

Young James: Being able to kick ass in front of thousands of people with you & the guys

Clare [grn-up]: Right but Close, but I love you for being [u]you[/u]

Young James: (inner thoughts - well she does have a point, but what is the point of it .... I guess we'll have to fucking see) -blush- well.... eh, you're right Clare

Clare [grn-up]: Yea, let's get back in the house before the neighbors start ranting at us

Young James: MmmHmm....

(Due to James' accident, they had to cancel a SNL performance ..... If they done the  SNL thing, that would've been a whole different story, but the guys & their management had to cancel due to the skateboard incident .... Just to be on the safe side.....phew )

(A few months later......)

-July, 9th 1987.... Castro Valley, Ca-

Young Rob: Com'on guys, we need to go!!!!

Young Lars: Be right there Rob, Roadie...are you and Cliff coming?

Roadie: Nah, that's ok dude we'll be....

Cliff: Go ahead Amber, I'll take care of Clare

Roadie: Are you sure?....I'll have Rob take over my job for me when...

Cliff: It's ok.... We'll be fine

Roadie: Thank you (kisses Cliff)

Clare [grn-up]: (facepalm) Fucking really everyone

Cliff & Roadie: Ok guys shut up

Young Jason: Sorry!!!

Cliff: (rolls his eyes & shakes head) Anyway before you go, I have something to tell you .... Without everyone seeing it

Korey: Soooo Clare what do you think your parents are doing now as we wait hmmmm?

Clare [grn-up]: Ohhh butt out Korey, all we need to do is to wait & see
